From a photo — to a character
The whole point of a comic about you is that people recognise you. So first you approve the character — and only then are the pages drawn.
- A character from a photo. The platform draws the hero in the issue's art style; you approve it or ask for another — free, until you say “that's me”. Original photos are deleted after 72 hours.
- The same person on every page. Features, hairstyle, signature details carry over from panel to panel.
- Pages one at a time. You accept each one yourself; 2 page redraws per issue are free, then 65 ₽; dialogue can be changed at no cost and without redrawing.

Will it be ready in time for the date?
If you make it yourself — yes: the first page takes a couple of minutes, and a 12-page comic with your checks and edits usually takes an evening. A made-to-order issue takes 1–3 business days, so don't count on it for tomorrow's party — order ahead.
Which photos work best?
1–3 clear photos per hero: the face is visible, no heavy shadows or dark sunglasses. Ordinary phone shots and selfies are perfect. From them we build a “hero passport” — features, hairstyle, signature details — and keep the look consistent on every page.
What if the characters don't look like us?
First you approve the “casting”: each hero's look in the chosen art style can be regenerated for free until you recognise yourself. After that every issue includes two free page redraws, and dialogue can be edited free without limit — we keep going until you say “that's me”.
Who draws the comic?
Paratoon's AI artist, trained to keep our signature art style — but every decision is yours: you approve the character casting, the script and each page. Nothing goes “to print” without your approval.
How do I print the comic?
You get a single print-ready PDF: near-A4 pages with bleed and crop marks, plus a one-page guide for the print shop on the last sheet. Show it together with the file — they'll print and trim it with no white margins. There's a home option too: an ordinary printer with “fit to A4” — you'll get thin margins. We don't print ourselves; any copy shop with a cutter or an online printer will do.

I'm no good at making up stories
You don't have to be. Tell us what happened in just three sentences — we'll build the structure, the panels and the dialogue. Before anything is drawn you'll see the script and can change any detail. And if there's nothing to tell, just name a theme: the writer will compose a 10–20 page story about your heroes; you read it, change anything you like or ask for another take.
What happens to our photos?
Original photos are used only to draw your comic and are deleted automatically: in self-service mode after 72 hours; for made-to-order issues no later than 14 days after upload, and 72 hours after delivery. To draw the pages, photos and text are passed to AI providers: Google (Gemini) receives the photos, the story and the heroes' names; OpenAI (Whisper) receives a voice recording only to transcribe it when you dictate; Sightengine receives photos for automated screening of prohibited content. Providers don't keep the material as a database and don't use it to train models. Only you see the finished comic; the details are in the privacy policy.
How much does it cost?
The first page is free, no card needed. After that you pay only for pages: 89 ₽ each; covers and the print-ready PDF are included. A 12-page comic ≈ 979 ₽. You pay with tokens (1 token = 1 ₽), topping up any amount from 100 ₽.
How do tokens work?
Top up your balance by card with any amount from 100 ₽ — tokens are credited instantly, 1 token = 1 ₽; from 2,000 ₽ we add 5 % on top. A page costs 89 tokens. No subscriptions, no automatic charges, and tokens never expire.
What if I don't like it at all?
First come the free fixes: we'll regenerate the character or the page. If you decide not to continue, we refund unused tokens on request by email to info@paratoon.ru — no hoops: one email and the money comes back.
